The Placement

Support to develop airport products (Ground Run-up and Airport blast barriers) and also metallic test cells, as demountable solutions, for civil engine testing.

To support this, we would be looking for an engineering student who would be studying Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or Civil Engineering (including structural engineering) who would have 3D modelling skills to develop a set of models and supporting technical literature to aid the products marketing effort and also preliminary engineering reviews of the concept designs produced.

Other activities that we would expect the individual to undertaken whilst on the placement would be associated with the concept designs to support active enquiries received by the company and include 3D modelling, preliminary design reviews and calculations and technical submission data.

Skills required

The right candidate would have to be studying towards a Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or Civil Engineering (including structural engineering) degree or Masters. The core skills required for the placement will include;
