The Placement

The ideal student would be required to take on the management of a client's entire online presence, this would include writing content for their website, writing their social posts, creating marketing material, liaising with the customer, as well as looking at ways of improving the online presence of a customer. Some design and Photoshop skills would be helpful.
The ideal student would need to take customers ideas, and turn them into coherent notes and wireframe designs that could be used by their design team to create mock ups of a new website, so you, would have to know what questions to ask, and what's relevant to the initial stages of a project.

  • Creating digital marketing campaigns on behalf of clients for online channels like websites, apps and social media like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Developing market research surveys and working with customers in focus groups
  • Briefing/ working with the client on advertising campaigns
  • Writing content for websites, email, social media, blogs, articles and posts
  • Designing and writing e-communications like e-newsletters and text campaigns
  • Making information and advertising more interactive by adding case studies, videos and infographics to websites, apps and social media
  • Tracking the success of your marketing campaigns and presenting your findings to management and client
  • Using techniques like search engine optimisation (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM)
