The Host Company are an SME based in the thriving East Midlands City of Derby. They offer telemarketing and recruitment solutions to their clients.

The host organisation has a dedicated, in house team who spend their time developing close relationships with the potential customers of their clients, using individually develop strategies to generate sales appointments.

To ensure high success rates the host company invests considerable time in planning each campaign specifically in line with the requirements of their client and the clients' potential customers. In this way they create the perfect strategy, which further honed by their unique practices. The host organisation prides itself on listening to requirements and responding appropriately.

The Placement

The host company are looking for a student with excellent English language skills to assist in the operation of the business in a number of ways. The successful applicant will be responsible for taking part in telemarketing campaigns, drawing on proved experience in sales and marketing to generate leads of the clients of the host organisation.

The student will also generate business for the telemarketing service, seeking out companies within the area of Derby who would benefit from the service. Once potential clients have been identified the student will attend sales visits to promote the company, demonstrating how the potential client can benefit.

In addition to this the successful applicant will also be involved in the development of the recruitment arm of the business, again looking at creating leads and generating business within the sector.

Both of the above tasks will require the student to be able to carry out prospect surveys to identify successful routes to market. In addition to this it will be necessary to create and manage databases of prospective clients, both for the host organisation and for their clients.
