The Host Company

The host company is a specialist telecoms property consultancy firm that acts for landlords and landowners that have telecommunications equipment on their land. They bring together all the asset management services a property owner might need when dealing with mobile phone operators including property and legal services.

The company has been in business for 6 years and is growing annually with plans for further expansion. It has a diverse client base in the public and private sector across the UK, and is regarded as one of the best consultancy firms in its field of work.

The Placement

The company is looking for a student to carry out a wide and diverse range of tasks. This will include:

  • Arranging access for contractors to client premises which will involve direct communication with all parties including clients and telecoms operators
  • Assistance with its marketing strategy (it is about to undertake a training programme to enhance its marketing capabilities and any student would need to be involved with this). 
  • Marketing search engine optimisation, and performing critical analysis of marketing data. 
  • Putting together a user friendly integrated IT system
  • Adapting a "shelf" CRM system for the host company use
  • Project managing and putting together a project manager system for host company use.
