The Host Company

The host company is a family operated, not for profit, education organisation based in the picturesque and characterful town of Uppingham. They have over 25 years of experience in the field of immigration and worldwide placements. Their dedicated team are qualified immigration advisors regulated by the Offices of the Immigration Services Commissioner and help their clients with immigration issues, work permits, visas and other paperwork. Also, they provide employers with immigration advice if somebody is looking to work, train or study in the UK. In this way their role is twofold - primarily, they help young people gain the necessary skills to support their academic achievements and establish a career and secondly they provide employers with skilled individuals who are willing to undertake a period of practical work experience either here in the UK or in overseas destinations such as the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and parts of Europe. Supported by the Department for Environment, Farming and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) the host company was the first organisation to be approved as a licensed sponsor under the United Kingdoms Tier 5 Government Authorised Exchange.

The Placement

During this placement the successful applicant will take up a position in marketing, working in a small team and open environment which will enable international work experience and involvement on both the immigration and internship sectors.

The company would be interested in enthusiastic and outgoing applicants who have already had experience in marketing. Duties would involve creating Google ads, updating and improving the website and developing promotions, campaigns and advertisements. They are aiming to create and maintain a professional image and presence of the host company to the public. With your creative and innovative approach you will develop brochures, websites and work on internet marketing.
