The Host Company

The host company is an international and national supplier of pipeline repair equipment. Their market sector is the water industry and utility management companies (world wide). Their product range is mainly closed circuit television survey & inspection and jetting systems and pipelines maintenance.

The host company's trading outlook is very focused on exports and the development of international markets. Currently they export to 24 countries world wide. They have a US based sister company in Sarasota, Florida that is trading in the same industry.

As a growing company the host organisation is focused on managing its growth and with expanding its workforce and trade in a gradual and constructive fashion.

The Placement

The host company is looking for a Polish student to assist them in the development of their Polish market. The successful applicant will be involved in a wide range of promotional activities, including the following:

  • Organising and managing trade exhibitions
  • Liaising with printers to achieve competitive prices
  • Development of product literature
  • Editorial writing and translations
  • Manage sales enquiries from Poland
  • Participation in trade shows - as both visitor and exhibitor
  • Deal with trade magazines over advertisement prices and placement
  • Deal with export and import enquiries

 

The Ideal Student

  • Native Polish speaker
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Good communication skills
  •  Well presented and polite
