The Host Company

The Host Company is a small to medium sized organisation based in the Leicestershire market town of Melton Mowbray in the English East Midlands. They specialise in the supply and manufacture of products relating to dust and fume extraction.

The host organisation's product range is extensive and enables them to cater for a diverse sector range and provide solutions for jobs of all sizes.

The Placement

The host company, the market leading independent organisation for their sector within the UK, are looking to expand operations overseas. They have invested considerable time and resources into ensuring that they are fully prepared for this and are have succesfully commenced operations in France. As well as continuing and growing activity there they are seeking to expand into Spain.

The host company are looking for a native Spanish speaker to assist them in their overseas business development. The role will include the following duties:

  • Business Development: This will include making initial contact with customers by telephone and maintaining relationships with clients in both the UK and Spain. The successful applicant will also need to be proficient in marketing so as to raise the company profile. This is also likely to include attendance of overseas exhibitions.
  • Data base maintenance and data input as required.
  • General office administration.
  • Compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Other appropriate duties as required.

The successful applicant will be responsible to the Sales Office Manager and the Sales Manager.
