B&B is a medium sized clothing manufacturer, specialised
in leisurewear. Recognised for being at the forefront of a new
dimension of leisurewear, their flexible and innovative approach
to T-shirt design and manufacture is echoed throughout their
collection.
T-shirts have taken the leap from function to fashion, which
opens up a world of opportunities for branding and promotion.
All their garments are of the highest retail quality, the finest
fabrics all of which enhance the image.
B&B is settled in the British market and was looking for
new markets opportunities abroad. B&B wanted to develop
the Spanish market and therefore needed a student who had the
language skills. The first Spanish student, Alvaro, they took
on had the challenge of entering the Spanish market and developing
customer opportunities.
At the end of this 6 months placement B&B required their
second ISPO student Maria, to continue these relationships.
Developing on this challenge, Maria is also responsible for
continuing the search for new customers in Spain and for researching
into other European countries where there are attractive market
opportunities.
The first student, Alvaro, made a great achievement by opening
the Spanish market for the company. He set up many steady contacts
and developed business relationships by organising client meetings
and acting as the translator. The Sales Director went to Spain
with Alvaro to meet 15 clients over a 4-day period.
Further to this, Alvaro introduced the company to several new
clients by arranging for them to come and visit B&B head
office in Derbyshire. “Alvaro’s placement was
a pivotal to this market entry, we now have our second ISPO
student who has taken over the role successfully and already
achieved many new orders.” Ranj
Khara - B&B Leisurewear Ltd.
“ISPO
found suitable students fluent in both English and Spanish.
Students with strong knowledge of International Business and
Marketing, required to develop and continue new business relationships
within the European frame.”
